Anyone happen to know if transfer cases between manual and auto transmission cars are swappable (ie. can I fit a transfer case from a wrecked automatic car onto my manual one)? I presume it does, but don't want to send one across the country just to find it doesn't.

Don't have the suzuki manual on me at the moment, and google isn't helping much either.

Im unsue of this. Ive been told all the manuals are the same just not sure of the auto's.

On another note i found out the rebuild kits for the GV transfer seen to be the same as the Vitara.

All auto are the same but i think some manuals have dofferent input spline

Yep, unfortunately input shaft is different between them. Doesn't look like is something that is particularly easy to change either, so will just hold out until I find one off a manual transmission vehicle.
