Hey I'm new to the forum and actually live in SE Asia... I'm trying to find a good place to source parts for my recently acquired Suzuki (still working on learning Thai so it has been difficult to get parts locally and they all look at me funny when I show them the coil springs)... after reading the Jimny wiki I think I have one of the tintop 95-98 JB32 Coilsprung versions. Was this version ever sold in Aus? Is it a Sierra or a Jimny? Has a G13BA 8 valve but is definitely carbureted not fuel injected. Any info would be greatly appreciated...

Mainly looking for regular wear items at this point (filters, clutch, etc) but am planning on doing some minor mods as it will see dual purpose use as a daily driver/weekend warrior... and would like to know where I can get parts BEFORE I break em...
So I should refer to it as a Sierra? or...?

Just about everything is available here. Some parts are common to leaf sierras also. ( but not many )

yea, I have an 86 Samurai (that was originally imported here from the states that was sort of left with us by my father in law...) that is leaf sprung... it is in pretty bad shape except for the engine which I have put a bit of effort into. doesn't have legal papers either so I'm left with waiting til I have the budget to make a dedicated offroader out of it. But it did get me real interested in these suzuki's... looked high and low for almost three years before I found the coily as any of these suzuki's don't come up for sale often here (not many of them in the country to begin with anyway). I've only seen three coily's and maybe a dozen or so Sierra/Sammys... there are also a few Jimny's running around as well. The Suzuki dealership (just opened within last year) will import the new Jimny's but they end up costing the same as a Grand Vitara (high 30's USD) so they haven't had one order for a Jimny yet and I haven't seem many Grand Vitara's for that matter either... There are actually quite a few of the older Vitara's around though so maybe I can find a 1.6 (or two) to throw in... And before anyone asks, yes I have been to the dealer here but they are NOT interested in helping out anyone with a vehicle that wasn't purchased from them... Anyway, thanks for the info and I think I'll be ordering some parts soon from the SuziStore...
I'm sure if I look through the forum more I'll find some other sources for more 'offroad' type parts and upgrades but if anyone has any recommendations for me as to where to go/what to do on the coily (daily driver/weekend fun) or the Sammy (plan to go full bore offroader - pending budget approval from you know who)
Thanks
