Just drained the oil from my car and found a piece of orange rubber with black discoloration. Found it in the sump hole and pretty sure there is more in there. Sump was full of petrol btw (fkn again!!!)

Carby is stuck fully open and flooding the engine so I'm blaming that this time.

So should I tow it to the mechanics and
1. Get him to flush the block to get any other nasty suprises out.
2. fix the carby again.
3. Say fck it and get a new carby.
4. Do a new timing kit.
5. throw a fkn match at the puddle of oil and fuel underneath it.

The last time my block was filling up with petrol it was apparently due to the timing and Carby being out to shit. Well I know the carby is playing up again at least and flooding the hell out of the engine.

What I'm presuming is the rear main seal is leaking as well. Could this be due to the fuel in the oil eating away at the seal? I wouldn't think they would use a reactive rubber?

Yeah G16A. Fuel pump wouldn't even have 1000km on it.

Orange rubber makes me think of gasket poo. Has your sump or anything been off and sealed with this poo rather than a gasket. 99% of the time too much is used and when the surfaces are squeesed together the excess is wiped off the outside and you just found out where the excess on the inside ends up... apart from the fuel in everything prob you seem to have

"What if" you sourced a running g13 and chucked it in as opposed to the cost of paying someone to chase down this gremlin? then you can have a spare to fiddle with in your own time? just putting it out there

Just read the g16 mumbo - inject it

^^^ it's a vitara... a G13 is a step backwards & i'm pretty sure there isn't a sump gasket for the G series motors, it's sealed with sealant from factory.

Yeah I skimmed and got the cc's wrong - shoot me. Unless someones stuffed a nike sole down the oil filler my guess is still gasket sealant. But it sounds like the least of your worries
