I'm in the market for a GPS my needs are Must have USB or sd card or at least 8gb of storage Must be able to play music and have and audio out Must be able to pick up fm radio, And be 5inch screen or smaller, maybe 3.5 Plan is for it to completely replace my head unit as its a poor fit I don't use CDs anymore. Will play music via audio out thru a cheapish amp thru speakers, needs to have the radio as to have fire warnings ect, will mount in the steel section of my dash. Price range be around 300 doesn't have to be new. Regards doug.

Isn't AM radio preferred for fire warnings?

That's the other choice , thought maybe something hard wired be better, I did see an episode of mighty car car mods where they installed a iPad into a Subaru, actually came out pretty neat.

If you go that route, buy one of these off deal extreme, charges and plays music via the 30pin slot, splits it to an aux cable and usb. get a cheap 12v usb charger off deal extreme as well and a 3.5mm to rca cable and you're laughing. I'm hard mounting an iphone in to a speaker setup (shed stereo thread) with a data only sim card to stream music and radio as well. Otherwise to avoid streaming grab a cheap fm radio and run that into the rca cables as well http://dx.com/p/3-in-1-usb-3-5mm-aux-au ... 1-2m-34654Whilst there are cheaper 3.5mm to rca cables, their cheap rca cables suck shit, so go for something like this http://dx.com/p/gold-plated-copper-3-5m ... 0cm-141012http://dx.com/p/3-5mm-male-to-2-rca-mal ... gth-109543

Has anyone ordered anything from their so called Australian warehouse? They claim 5-7 days delivery.
Most of my orders have taken 3-6 weeks from HK/China.
