If you want to drive down to Brisbane i've got a 1/8BSP28 tap here you can borrow for the afternoon. I believe you know where I live and you still have my number... otherwise shoot though a PM.

The thread through the diff housing is 1/4"bsp. Not 1/8"bsp. If reubs (or anyone closer) can't help you out I have one here in deception bay. Bring your diff down and we'll tap it out.

It will measure at around 1/2" outside diameter, but pipe threads (bsp) are measured by the nominal bore of the pipe (or fitting) and is actually 1/4"bsp. That is assuming you are using a typical ARB bulkhead fitting.

If you do in fact need a 1/2"bsp tap I can check in the morning and see if I have one.
