hey guys, I got myself a nice little UHF (uniden uh7700nb) that's only 100mmx20mm across the face and about 80mm deep. now where to put the thing is another decision all together, I'll whack the areal on the bullbar, but the unit?
I'm sittin in my car just poking it into spots and strangly enough the best one I can come up with is in the drivers door pocket, what do you think?

if you've put a small UHF in a jimny, send in a pic :)

pull out the tray and make a fascia panel to fill the hole or you could prob mount it inside the tray itself. it's easy to pull out.

thanks for the idea's everyone, I think I'll try out my door pocket idea for a while, if I don't like it I'll go to the spot near the passengers knee with the hand piece under the little dish thing behind the wiper stick.

much appreciated everybody.
