Hey all just a quick question.... Has anyone replaced a alternator on a 98/99 v6 Grand Vitara?

If so was it a prick of a job? Estimate of how long it takes? I have to replace mine and wass just wondering how much swearing i'll be doing

Be prepared for a lot of swearing - some vehicles have a T50 Torx head on the lower bolt - if that's what you have, be prepared to remove it with a dremel or easy out.

Quite easy to do. Took me about 90mins to do on a hot motor......

I found that out the other day when I wanted to change the belt - ended up starting to strip - so I've left it for now
