Hiya!! Installing an OME suspension set onto the Sierra (WT leafy) with 40mm lift.. All goin great!!! More or less..

Front units nearly in, and I reattached the stabiliser bar although it sure doesn't line up with its original position!!

A bit of tension here and there and I have it bolted back on.. Although its pulled the top mounts out of place and now sits on the steering damper mount.. I want to change the steering damper too but can't with the stabiliser bar the way it is..

So what's the solution?? Are there different stabiliser bar brackets? Leave it all the way it is? Different stabiliser bar?

I'm not keen to leave it undone as I use it in the road daily..

I removed my sierra sway bar within a week of owning it. Was daily driven for 7 years.

Yeah a few guys say that... And it certainly shouldn't cause any issues driving it like that....

UNTIL!! Some numb nuts (perhaps me) does something silly and I find myself trying to change direction pretty quick.. Then it all gets a bit uncontrollable and/or upside down..

Would prefer to have it on, that's the way it was designed to work..

you can put spacers in the front. that being said

your lift is just as likely to cause you to be upside down as removing the sway bar.

Maybe get some new brackets made up so it sits in the right place?

Just get two pieces of 40mm SHS, drill two holes in each and space the bar down. I'd still get rid of it though, drives much smoother

Might try that then seems to sit a little further back than it used to.. Will have something fab'd up
