I use my GV3 for towing my LJ around on the trailer. When it comes to reversing etc lowrange helps alot, my question is, has any one seen anything around the place about being able to use lowrange with the centre diff unlocked so you can use lowrange on bitumen etc??

being an electronic switch I can't see how you could override it, if you were brave you could find the wire that sends the signal to the centre diff and install a switch so it wouldn't lock when required.
I don't think it's that simple - I did take a look at it once and the shifting is handled by the usual selector fork setup, but the forks are shifted by a motor driven cam with grooves in it - you would have to redesign the cam to allow the low range selector to engage without engaging the diff lock.
