About a 4week lead time from when the order is placed. Hopefully this time I don't get stuffed around with customs...

I did read this thread fairly quickly so apologies if I missed it but is there any feedback on how they performed? How many people ended up getting them and what was the verdict? anyone break them?

Yeah as far as I know no one has broken a set. Mud_muncher is running 34s in Vic, and hasn't broken them. Tim hasn't and that's as far as I know.

If other previous buys have experience (good or bad) let me know.

I might have a broken axle (still haven't opened them up to see) but I didn't hear a thing when it might have gone.

I often have the handbrake on, front airlocker engaged and dumping the clutch at full lock to dig it around and I've never broken it doing that stuff. I have been out wheeling with the intention to break a CV or try to find the next weak link and it's sheared 6 tensioned hub bolts everytime.

I honestly think that if you're running them in a jimny, you're gonna be hard presses to break it. Like Josh said, he digs front locked etc no problemo.... I can't see me ever breaking them :)

mudmuncher needs to wheel his junk more! But in saying that every trip he has been on in the last couple years with or without the new axles and CVs he's blown the Hub bolts off. Might be time to look at drilling out and tapping for M8 or M10 even. But where do you stop? Ring and pinion is surely at the limit.

It'd be good to see what happened on Josh's drivers side with 12.9's intact but no longer has drive.

How did you end up breaking the axles (terrain, grip level, throttle, airbourne etc)?

I broke my TJ CVs just by looking at them the wrong way. I broke another of unknown brand by dumping it. Not sure it should have broken though. It may have been due to misalignment caused by incorrect spacing, but that is sorted now. Have not broken a CV or a FWH bolt since.

Yeah I ended up breaking the axles on the airlocker end. But a few things played into it, one I'm pretty sure my rushed set wasn't heat treated properly, two, I was doing a short sharp climb that was Tarmac at the top, so It was all wheel spin when it hit the ground.

There is another member on here that's building a 26/25spline axle to suit TT Gen 5 CVs. When he gets his crap together people will flock to them now most of the bugs are sorted with them and I can't break my test set ;)

We are going to start sorting another order of these. Currently we are taking axle orders. Due to these being a select market its all built to order and will require deposits. Im am in talks with the CV supplier so will get back to you with a price on those as soon as I can.

You will be purchasing 300M 26 spline axles and Chromoly CVs. Fitting is dead easy but will require 26spline side gears in your front center.

A rough price of this kit to your door is $849. With me not making a cent out of it.

A deposit of $500 is required to have your name on the list. Will all be through paypal.

-Again I don't make any money from this, this isn't a business deal, its just me trying to hook more jimnys up with indestructible front ends-

Wilso.
