OK... Just got the ARB Bar home from Dieselsuzi in TSV... Thanks Mate its spot on what i was after and in good nick just as promised...

the Decision... I will probably put a winch in the bar at some stage when funds permit... from what I'm reading i'll probs only put in a 6,500lb unit with braided rope of some description as anything bigger over kill for the SWB and way too heavy...

I'm about to get the bar Powder Coated ready to fit but its an older style bar with the top roller mounting for the roller fairlead. As I will be using synthetic rope bound winch i won't be fitting rollers so should I cut this bracket of before i powder coat to make it look nice and neat and sexy and new :peaceout:

What do you guys reakon???

Cheers

Bretski

If you're not using a roller fairlead I'd get rid of it. The current ARB sierra bar no longer has the fairlead support.

only reason why you would was if you ever wanted to sell it to someone that has wire rope.

But pretty much every winch comes out with rope now... So i cant see a problem in the future

Cut away :D
