Hi i was 4x4 the other day and i had the car in 4Low going up a rock clay hill and i got just to the top then it started to stall soo i jumped on the break because i felt the car rolling backward and panicked soo i ended up dropping the clutch whilst rolling backwards !!!!

Now when i go to put my auto hubs in they wont engage or the little 4x4 light wont come on and if it does it is flashing ?? What have i done to my car could it be my transfer box or my auto hubs ???

Most jimny owners install manual hubs because auto hubs play up alot. Check if your vacuum lines are still conected to the hubs. Double check wll the vacuum lines while your there.

Turn the iginition switch on and off 6 times to reset the hub controller. Not sure if this works but I did pick this up on a forum somewhere and I reckon mine came good after I have stalled it six times up in the high country. I now have manual hubs.

I feel bad for saying this (I really do)
But if you dont know what a vac line is you probably shouldnt be mucking around with anything at all on your car.....

Its a small dia hose that has negative air pressure in it and used for many things in all cars (brakes, fuel pressure regulation), and in this case, also actuates your locking hubs.
