Ok just found out 89 mod chassis so will the 96 cab fit that

Assuming they are both SWB and both 1.6L bodies, then yes, they should fit.

Dont be surprised if there is differences, the 96 has different ears for the engine mounts

isn't this an x-90 that you're trying to re-chassis rather than a vitara? i wouldn't be surprised if there are other differences.
