Is it a ball bearing turbo. And is it water cooled?

IIRC - a t25 is a watercooled/non ball bearing turbo. The T28BB is ball bearing from the late model SR20DET.
Coming on boost too soon....is that a problem?!

Was coming on full boost at like 2500-3000rpm, thats a problem when I sit at 3200rpm on the freeway and the thing won't stop whistling, the computer switches to fuel map and drinks to much juice, would have been perfect for the 1.3 but just a touch small for the 1.8, was super responsive though. The new t28 (non ball bearing) that I have now is perfect, makes full boost just after 4000rpm

Strange it comes on boost too early as that turbo would have been stock on a CA18det.
