Hi All,

Well the time has come to sell off the LWB Vit, Unfortunately the car hasn't been driven since October and before that May - too much other stuff going on....

If someone wants it complete and unregistered for $7500ono provided they come to the party before 29/3.

If not then it will be stripped and parted out, sold off bit by bit and the remaining carcass sent to scrap.

Steel Front Diff(5.12) with Stub Axle conversion, Bearing Carrier & Seal Insert, ARB AirLocker, complete with Compressor & associated Wiring, Diff Drop Brackets, recessed cap bolts and modified 3rd member mount. $1800

5 speed Manual - bearing noise in 3rd gear but still OK. $100

Transfer Case with Reduction Gears Fitted & all new bearings throughout (5000ks Use) - $1000

LWB Vit 96 - Rear Diff complete Hub to Hub with BenT Rear Disc Conversion, (new wheel bearings 3000ks Use) - $600

Calmini 3" Super Articulation Kit - Front Lower Control Arms, Front Springs in Good Condition, Rear Springs sagged and bottom out in LWB, should be OK for SWB, Rear Lower Control Arms, Rear A Arm & Heim Joint, Rear Calmini Shocks, Front Struts Dobinsons Extended Struts - Diff Drop Brackets not in this kit, they go with the steel diff due to mods - $1300

Not sure, I guess it depends on the model?

It's a steel GV diff from a 2003 v6 Manual.

would need to remove the hilux adapter plates, diff drops & pick up a standard late model pinion mount & then make up a RHS CV with flange to suit the stub axle, which is pretty easy.

The hilux pattern plates will be removed so should be good just with a LHS Cv

Mines a 2000 GV so unless it's been hacked up it should bolt in.

pinion mount might differ, but you can chase one up easily from a wrecker. you'll need to change the rear diff ratio to suit.

Sounds right. The only difference is the stub axle and bearing carrier conversion.

You'll need another LHS cv to use on the RHS.

Also the original vacuum line connection has been blocked off and the internals for that removed. I think that was for auto free wheel hubs or some such nonsense???

Depending on how the brass bush has held up i'd be interested in all the lux CV bits... or are you keeping them?
Would also take the idler arm off you if Gus doesn't.

What brand of extractors? O2 sensor any good?
Did you get round to the exhaust? Ill take l that too if it gets parted

I think the O2 sensor is OK, but that will go with the EFI & Loom with the engine.

The extractors are just a generic brand, from somewhere in Woollongong i think from memory?

There is a full 2" exhaust system back from that with only 5000k's on it, around 12-18 months old I think. $400 for the whole thing.

I'll get pics of the rear bar tomorrow.

Sliders and Rear Bar have been quite popular, you're on the list but you're first dibs on the exhaust.

I suppose it could be modded to suit, never attempted to convert any bar from LWB to SWB so dont know what would be involved.

Yep, the 3" Calmini is good for all SE model vits, no mods required between LWB and SWB.
