Hey guys, So the G16A in my Vitara is deadsky . Need a new engine for her. I know many of you think I should upgrade to a G16B or somehing, but I have decided that I don't want to. So yeah, I'm after another G16A to go into a December 1989 built Vitara SWB manual - Brisbane area ish. Cheers.

got one all the way down here mate, but its not like you could just pop in on your way home from work, good luck in your search mate,
p.s. im new to this game but ive been informed that the G16A has its own advantages. if you water proof the dizzy and snorkel up you can submerge the thing and it doesnt mind, no electrics to worry about. my G16A that is for sale was unstoppable, it would never give up, and it will do someone really well, i honestly believe that

I could arrange for a courier or something to pick it up from yours, I suppose that's an option. How much have you got it advertised for?
But that is interesting about the G16A's waterproof-ness!

there was a you tube clip going back where someone drove into and around a lake with his head on his snorkel level under water it was kinda funny, he drove around the lake under water for about 5mins or something then drove out, opened the doors and obvously water came out etc,,, was a few years ago i seen it, i'll try and find the link,,,,, come to think of it it might of been a sierra but the printable still applies

if you use a kitchen washing up glove (heavy duty style) and some cable ties you can put it around your dizzy and use the fingers for your leads to come out,,,, wouldnt recommend you go sink your car but worth thinking about if your going on a wet and wild trip
