Hey guys just a curosity question mainly.
I installed a uhf radio wired into the 12v cig lighter on my 08' Jimny around about 4 months ago, i have it turned off all the time, but my battery seems to be draining dead flat recently.

Do i just have a dodgey battery and its a coincidence or is it possible radio is draining it somehow?

Cheers,
Cam

My UHF runs straight off the battery and I don't have any issues.
My starting battery dropped its guts the other week(cold mornings sure do the trick), went from starting to not starting in 2-3 days. it was so flat that my dual battery system wouldn't jump start it because the starting battery had below 6v.

hahah yeah, i was surprised when the bloke at battery world said it was an original battery. he said factory batteries usually only last 3 years, so all in all glad it was the battery. hah
