Hello fellow zookers I am the owner of a Lwb 96 model vitara with a 3 inch calmini lift kit and 2 inch body I am currently running 16 inch rims with mud claw tyres I am wanting to step it down too 15 inch sunrayser style rims could some one please tell me the best off set to run? As the tyre store is telling me I can only run 16s as 15s will hit the caliper.
Cheers James

they should do, heap of people run smaller offsets with no problems. they only just hit on the big brakes of the V6 vitara before a lick with the grinder... what offset are the rims you're having problems with?
yeah they'll stick out alot, they have to so the springs work properly as per calmini's specs.

LWB brakes are bigger than the SWB's & the 2.0l vitara's are bigger again, they must be a big + offset to be causing issues.
they're not the rims fitted to your blue SWB in the forsale ad?

I've jsut ordered sunnies in a 16 x 7 with a -13 offest ... putting 235 /75's BFG Muddies on them .... going -13 will give the same backspace as the std wheel
