My head is blown on my g16a and I'm deciding what to do. I want to stay carby as Eli conversion is to hard, any other motors for more power I can put in ?

I think you'll find if EFi is too hard any other option will also fall into the same category. Only G series motors will bolt straight in, anything else will require fabrication work

Yes I know but mounting isn't the problem, it's all the wiring and problems that come with it as carby is much more simple to repair, I'm just getting an idea on if their is any other option of something that has any power upgrade before I source a g16a

I think you'll find wiring a G16B motor would be far easier than fitting engine and gearbox from something else, especially if its just another carby motor

That is a very good point, was just seeing if their was another option first, I will need to find one soon. It is still drivable for a bit longer

it's a pretty straight forward process and you'd be surprised how cheap e-go could get it to you.

My opinion so disregard as you see fit....

If you don't have the knowledge, skills and equipment to do a full blown conversion (including all fabrication work) then don't bother going down that road. You will get part way into it and loose all interest. It then becomes a pile of parts that eventually gets parted and you move onto something else.
If you like the car, and want to keep it, just fix the head or replace with the same engine. If you want a bit more power then go down the EFi path. Or, strip the good bits off this one and sell it so you can buy a later model that already has EFi.
