Hi Guys can anyone help me i have recently had a fault code come up on my 2007 jimny Exhaust Gas Recirculation "A" Flow Insufficient Detected P0401 Fault Code.
Does anyone know what this means and can they guide me in the right direction thanks guys

I would go with oxygen sensor, but I don't have a service disk, hopefully someone here does

EGR is different to o2 sensors & the code relates to EGR's as posted

i'd say the EGR valve/pipe is carbon-ed up, not sure what the set up is on the jimny's though.

EDIT: looks like from this thread you've got a m18a jammed in there... could be a number of things, maybe it has been over fueling & pumped a heap of carbon through the EGR.

yea i have a m18a how can i tell if its over fueling i did have the m13a throttle body install but it was idling really rough so put m18a throttle body in and fixed idle but idle is getting a little rough a gain so i am a bit lost i am ganna pull egr out and have a look this weekend but another help would be awsome

Usually the ECU will test exhaust flow during deceleration by turning on the EGR briefly and measuring the rise in manifold pressure. A lack of flow could be due to blocked passageways or insufficient back pressure.

what have you done for an exhaust manifold when you did the m18 conversion ?
