Hi there,

I need to replace my gearbox in my 99 jimny.
just wondering can i fit a vitara, seirra or any other box or do i have to track down a jimny box?
any advice would be great,

Have to use a jimny box thay suits the g13b

Jimny and sierra 1.3 boxes are the same.

ty i can get a 1.3 sierra box way cheaper then a jimny box....
bolt straight in or have to swap bell housing ect.?

Bolt up as far as I know. The g13bb motor bolts up to a sierra box, you might need to use the Gbox mount from the jimny, but the rest is pretty universal... The clutch cable mount might be slightly different too..
