Looking for a set of front and rear 5.12 vitara diffs to fit in my GV for lockers. Im in SA but open to shipping.

have you got a rear locker already?
if not i'd be specifically looking for a 12 bolt rear (stronger) and get the locker to suit.

no i haven't got the locker yet, I'm open to the 12 bolt rear. what should i be asking for then? Even with all the reading I've done on gv lockers and gears i still dont know what to buy

pretty sure all the LWB 1.6 vits were 12 bolt rears from memory.
auto locker or air locker?

RD209 is the rear air locker for the 12bolt diff. Front is RD208.

RD88/RD208 = 26 spline for the front RD79/RD209 = 12bolt for the rear the RD208 & RD209 are the updated versions of the RD88 & RD79

check the getting rid of stuff section & chase up the people parting out vitara's.... from my experience on forums i find chasing & doing the work get's better results than waiting for someone to reply.

so ask for a set of 5.12 vitara 10 bolt (rear) diff centers from a 1.6L LWB vit. Man or Auto or doesnt matter?

12 bolt rear is stronger
the part numbers above are for 12 bolt rears, so don't buy a 10 bolt diff & order a 12 bolt locker.
