Hi guys,

Seems to be plenty of info out there on the 1.3 50A alternators, but can anybody tell me what the rating is for a standard 1.0ltr alternator?

I have a couple of Hella 55w spots i would like to whack on the bullbar, and the standard globes are only 40/45w so wouldnt mind going 55/60 hallogen.... like to know how much leeway the alternator is going to give me.

Looking at the unit in our '94 Maruti its a Nipon Denso with SR 100211 1530 - 31400 M 80030 12v on the tag. Which is identical to this one:
Suzi store MG410 alternator
...which doesnt give a wattage or current rating either

I imagine its less powerful than the 1.3 as it looks physically smaller, any ideas?

Cheers,
MrC

Thanks mate, not much joy on the ND site or elsewhere for that part number. It will be good to go then if its optimally capable of pumping out around 480watts.

Should squeak in with 55watt replacements and the occassional burst of spotlights without discharging the battery too much.

Just one thing - does it show in the manual where the turbo button is hidden?
