im pretty sure most autolockers are locked all the time and only unlock when cornering.

are they locked together then the centre is out of the axle housing?

Yup as soon as I drive it it's almost like there is to much load and just unlocks when I'm trying to climb

If it unlocks when climbing because of load it will sound like a machine gun.

Shims behind the side gears to tighten the locker up.

I thought Spartan lockers didnt unlock? as in its a pin that slides up and down a keyway that allows minor movement?
