Is it manual or auto because if you are clever, get the Speedo sensor out of the gearbox to go with it so you should be able to use the whole baleno cluster rather than having to make a vss with a sierra one etc At least it should work, I won't know for a couple of months yet!

Suzuki Baleno 2000 *auto* 4 door
Not sure what you're referring to as I have never done a conversion but i am sure i could remove the sensor.
Seats - I will let you know Monday of their condition. I expect they are excellent. i assume you only want fronts?

Hey man I'm doing a conversion with the same motor from the same year currently, only it was 2 door auto so probably zero difference in the driveline. Before I ditched the auto transmission I removed the 3 sensors on it that came out by removing the bolts with a 10mm hex head. Two of these appear to be speed sensors for the auto (one detected the main shaft and another an intermediate shaft) and the third is definitely the speedo sensor as it has a geared tooth on it. I'd suggest removing all 3 and sending with it because the way I plan to do it is this: 1. Count the number of pulses sent by 1 rotation of the speedo sensor by turning it through 1 rotation and counting. 2. Use one of the other two sensors as a speedo sensor by cutting the required number of notches into one of the flanges on the transfer output. 3. Connect up the correct wiring. 4. ????. 5. Profit. Hopefully that's helpful, the buyer may not want to use the Baleno speedo unit but for the couple of seconds it would take you to pull them out it would save them a lot of stuffing around if they want to go down that path. Cheers and good luck with the sale.

For sure.
I sent the last one (out of manual) to a guy in Perth and he never asked for any gearbox sensors. I don't know how he got on. I might contact him and ask.
