Howdy Zookers,

I've got a cracked exhaust manifold on my G16b.
The two cracks are between the headers on the rearmost and innermost cylinders. They're each about about 4" long in total and about 1-2mm at the widest.
I've slapped some "speshal" gunk on there and it's made no noticeable difference. Most likely I haven't covered it completely or it's blown off.
The car doesn't seem down on power I'll happily cruise at 110 on the highway dropping back to 4th to overtake. (I put that down to 30" tyres though)
The long term solution is to get a new exhaust system put on. As the rest of it has seen better days. Rust, dings, holes etc. None of which are in a position to really affect anything.

So my question is, Should I care?

Yes. I've heard that manifold cracks are implicated in head cracking. Extractor time in my opinion.

Yep time for extractors.
Many aftermarket ones warp or come warped so ive found so get a big spoungy gasket & smear that shit with goup.
Mines leaking even after doing that so need to do again.
