Just want to know if it can be done. Have a good 85 sierra body and complete 1998 sierra chassis will they fit and what mods need to be done thanks

Yes, it will (sort of) fit. you will have to do work to the inner guards to clear the shock mounts. I don't think there is much else that would be a problem.
However, this swap will is illegal, as the body does not meet the ADR's the car was constructed to meet, so if the car is used on road you might have some issues with the law if you were pulled over for a defect and had to have the car inspected.

Should be ok as it is a 1985 car with upgraded 1998 components.

Well I ask because the 98 Sierra is a complete car but must of lives on the beach and is like Swiss chesse. The front end from windscreen bonnet Gards and doors are ok but back of car is shit.

If I can find one cheep would rather do that but have the 85 body at home was going to chop up to fix this one
