Vehicle: Sierra SJ80

Hi all, i have a sierra SJ80 and wanted to put 5.12 ratios(from a vitara) into my sierra to fix my gearing issue(running 30's). i have got the rear in fine and its perfect so much easier to drive. however the front just wont work, the vitara housing is the wrong shape and hits the steering arm, the second old rear housing from my sierra also hits the steering arm. The original front housing has smaller side bearings so i cant just drop the center from the vitara into it and the crown on the original centre has 8 bolts where as the vitara has 12 so therefore i cant use my standard center and bolt the crown wheel on. Has anyone done this before and knows what to do, or any advice i'm kinda stuck atm. Cheers in advance.
Sj80 has a reverse cut teeth. As far as I am aware it won't work.. if you look at the sj80 center you will notice the pinion is at the top of the center. Were a sj70 ect is at the bottom
