Dropped my oil today and it came out looking burnt? Only been 5000kms since last service. What would cause it to do that? Could it be the engine not liking the oil that my mechanic put in? Im putting penrite 10w40 everyday full syn in after i change my rocker cover gasket. Oil Cheers

What are you talking about burnt? You do know that if clean oil comes out it isnt doing its job, ie cleaning the soot and crap out of the engine.
Some oils have high detergent rates that are designed to clean. I always laugh when people comment on how "clean" their engine oil is after xxx kms. It should and will always turn dark.
