Has anyone seen sill-mounted protectors for the GV using angle not box section (or using low profile box section)?

Could the body work even handle the weight? As it's been done on Sierra's and I think Vitara's is it possible for a GV?

I'm not too keen on chassis mounted due to losing ramp over angle.

Have a look here mate. This was the way I did my GV when I had it.
Worked really well. First page are the pictures of it.

CJ had some really funky ones that hugged the body... more like a sill protector rather than a slider!

Thanks Bruce. That's the only real example of GV sliders I've seen so far. I just don't like the loss in ramp over angle and sill clearance.

Does look good though.

Yes I remember CJ talking about it years ago but have never seen them. I like the concept of wrap around sill protectors but just need to find a way of mounting the angle since it's a farily flat surface and still not get hung up on the cross brace bits.

different again and higher than the chassie but you can see the shineee mount.
