Do you mean checkerplate sill covers? Not sure they 'protect' much.

yep i have a pair of alloy ones laying in the scrap bin, they are just that good.

replace your sills with shs for a high level of awesomeness

Like the boys said it has no protection value but if you are after it to cover/tidy up dented sills then you can buy it from Bunnings and cut it to size with jigsaw, angle grinder, dual saw or whatever you have.

I used to have 6mm alloy checkerplate sill guards on my sierra. They coped a beating and survived.
You could jack the sierra up of them no problems.

The strength in them came from the 90* fold and was a lot lighter than steel ones.
