So ripped my engine apart yesterday arvo to do my rocker over. I took my fuel line banjo off the injector rails and it wouldnt stop coming out :/ when i did my rockers last time the fuel stopped coming out after a few drops out of the lines.

What could be causing the fuel to keep coming? Could that be the problem with my fuel economy as well?

The usual way to depressurise the fuel is to take off the fuel tank lid (to release the air pressure in the tank) remove the fuel pump relay and run the engine until it stalls. If you didn't release the air pressure in the tank, you can get a litre or more of fuel pushed out, depending on how much air is in the tank.

This has no bearing on fuel economy, because there is a fuel pressure regulator before the injectors.

Add to that the loss of a factory plastic bumper, my economy went up slighty once mine was removed.
