Hi all,

I bought a couple of new keyless remotes for my GV and have been pulling my hair out searching the web on how to program it for my model.
I think I have found the instructions for every other model but mine.

The remotes are a single button style.

The car is a 1998 Grand Vitara with the 4 cyl 2L engine.

If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Just a tip - when turning the key from ACC to ON 20 times, do it as quickly as you can. Just a little bit too slow and nothing happens, and you'll be wondering for ages why it didn't work

Hi shabz,
Thanks for that info. I did find that one during my searches and the instructions for it said that it referred to the 1989 model but I gave it a try anyway....just in case. Unfortunately no luck but the instructions did say it can be hard to get the timing right so I may give it another crack. : )
