Hi there,

I know this May have been Covered Before, I'm Looking at getting a new Clutch Kit For My 1.3Ltr 1987 SWB Sierra 5 speed What kits have people been using for 150 Dollars Was just thinking Of a PBR One Any Suggestions?????

Since no one's answered yet, I went to repco and got charged a lot more than that for a clutch kit, so I think you can do a lot better. The brand I bought I think was 'clutch industries', put it in w/ new spigot and throwout bearing and a freshly machined flywheel. After that it was the best feeling clutch I've driven, zook clutch anyway. Light pedal, excellent grab and no shudders.

I'd recommend you pull the gearbox out to find out which clutch you have. There's 2 different spline clutches and what is listed as the common one isn't always.

I bough an exedy from the states on special and it was about $100 posted.

I bought it from amazon, the shipping from there is usually pretty cheap. The clutch kit itself was on special at the time and the AU$$ was better at the time. It's probably not much more to get one locally now and you wont have to wait 2 weeks for it.

The exedy part no. I ordered was 04104, it cam with pilot and throw-out bearings, alignment tool, clutch cover and clutch disc. Pedal effort is slightly less than stock.

Just Thought I Shoot A Quick update, Ordered a CI Industries Clutch Kit Off Ebay $150 Machined the Fly wheel replaced the Real Main Seal why I was at it Put it all Back together man the Ci Clutch is one Hell Of a light Clutch Very Happy with the End result. thatnks for the Info guys.

With reduction gears it will last a long time.

I have an excedy in mine and swear by it! Copped 3 or so years of abuse and I just dropped a new motor in mine and its still got heaps of life left! I wouldn't go anything else!
