Hey guys. Selling a Steel Gv diff. Not sure of ratio. Pretty sure it has steel 3rd member also.
Its in Penrith and I haven't seen it yet.
On a pallette so ready to ship at your expense.
Chasing $500 ono or a clubman go kart/frame/engine

that's the current going rate & even then crew on here have got them cheaper again. they're not as uncommon as they once were... heaps & heaps of GV's are now turning up in wreckers, where as 6 years ago they were still "new" cars.

yeah at $300 it would probably fit... will need to know the ratio & if its an early pinion mount or a late one.

The ratios in them are interchangeable between the steel and alloy doffs aren't they? I'd need a steel housing and 3rd member but not the diff centre as I'd swap mine into it

Either style pinion mount will bolt up too, there just aren't diff drop angle options available for the later style.

price drop do you know what ratio is it yet? do you have any pics of it? early or late model pinion mount? now for the million dollar question on behalf of alexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx did it come out of a late model V6 auto? so what's the deal, you paid for one in sydney & had it palleted up ready for freight then realised you paid to much or you thought you'd mark it up a by a fair bit be able to make a tidy profit... what was the actual price ? i'll give you $300 + freight.

Bought one from down there, only one around at the time. Reasonable price. My crack cocaine addiction is taking over and i really need to get another hit. Ill sell anything right now. Its about the only redundant item thats worth anything and with a bit of demand. Thanks for getting the bidding started also.

can you find out the those details & you might have a good chance of selling it. seeing it's a crack addiction, i'll wait another day or 2 & offer even less + freight... i know how junkies operate.

We could just about do a clean swap in 2 days. Some of what your on for my diff? Ill have to call him tomorrow. Can you tell what ratio it is without pulling the centre out? Does it even matter what ratio as most vits want 5 12 any how. Pretty sure the pinion mount is different to mine so its late model.

alexx has an auto GV with alloy housing finding one with the right ratio's would save a bit of a hassle for now, but in saying that i think he might going to 5.12's anyway. doubt a young pup would be able handle what i'm on... high on life.

i'd do some searching before fitting a late model GV diff into a SV420, your sump is going to have a bad time.

Whats the differences between late model and early? Other than the style of the pinion mount?
