hey guys i was wonder if there is a certain way the milatary wrap is ment to be faceing is it ment to be were the shackle is or on the solid mount on the chassis or doesnt it really matter??

nah its the second leaf from the top thats sort of hooks around the eye of the spring at one end if you get wat i mean ..

that may be normal.
my springs are around the wrong way, that's how i moved my diff forward with out drilling anything.

haha well i have that part at the shackle end now but i heard there ment to be at the fixed end would it really matter ??

If i remember correctly the military wrap is designed to suport main the leaf and hold it all together if the main leaf breaks. More often than not if a leaf brakes it is at the fixed end not the shackle end.

well i got told that same thing but the other way round so put it at the fixed end cause im gonna play around with my spring packs today just wondering for when i put it back as its at the shackle end now

fixed end will at least keep the axle near to the correct position if everything goes to shit, at least till you can stop.

My omes have the wrap at the shackle on the front (heavy duty) and none at all on the rears (mediums). My gf's rocky has the wrap at the shackle on the fronts and at the fixed mount on the rears.
