Sierra FWH on GV

From my quick searches (ie viewtopic.php?f=8&t=35306) the differences between sierra and vitara free wheeling hubs are minor.
Given that vit hubs bolt straight on GV's, can I assume that sierra ones would do as well ?
Any strong advice against that ?

As far as i know they are too different to work.

Get vitara or coily sierra ones

How are the coily Sierra any different ?

Am about to make a purchase, but obviously won't if it's not fitting.

Thanks atari4x4, that's more or less what I grasped from the other thread, but can you elaborate a bit ?

Like
Non coily-sierra FWH = not good for GV because of circlip placement
coily-sierra = similar to vitara = GV ok ?

If it's safer to just track a vitara set of FWH I may just as well do that. Thanks for your input.

i thought it was pretty clear.
coily hubs are exacly the same as vitara.
leafy ones are different and wont fit the GV.
you needs vitara/coily ones. period...

But the GV Non free wheeling hubs fit a leafy.
