Not sure what you mean here? I have made some improvements to the quadrant lever on the caliper where the cable attaches to make it easier to assemble based on some past feedback.

My hand brake cables lined up perfectly, and are still working well.
Was a tad fiddly to fit, but never swore, so wasn't too bad :)

Apologies if its already been stated, but is there a kit made for the later model rear axles yet or is it still in development?

Yup, I have made up a kit. The first one is being installed on a Vitara right now, so assuming that goes well they will be available soon.

Ben

yess!!

Wait, what? Was my Vit the first of the later kit?

Somewhere here you will find me posting about finding an ample and cheap enough supply via the states on ebay for galand calipers.

I lucked in the other day in Adelaide. Picked up a pair of Galant calipers from Lonsdale U-Pullit for $44.00 for my upcoming SQ425 rear disc conversion. When I did my SV420 conversion a few years back, I paid $175.00 for a pair from another wrecker in the same area. Not bad, $130-odd to have them removed for me...... I've got to say, after a few years living with the SV240 conversion, I'm still very happy with BenT's kit.
I'll be contacting BenT soon for the late model kit.
