Hmmm - AWshifting.com used to be the source for paddle shifting AW Boxes but they seem to have vanished - the site has disappeared.

Constant power is required to the chosen solenoid. I'm aware of a "temporary" setup on an AW-4 behind a motor with no computer interface with the auto (might as well be carby) that uses a 4 position knob to select the gear you want - quite an easy solution.

However, there's some catches. This is fully manual. Pull up in 4th, and it will try and pull away in 4th. This might be a pita.

Moving the t-bar shifter into the 2 or 1 positions will do strange things, including with the torque converter lock.

You'll have to work out how to control or disable the torque converter lock. should you want to.

I might have a play with that when the info is available. The downside is that it looks pretty simple though, not a patch on Suprastick.

Hmmm seems like we might need a computer guru for this mod then.......

all other sensors to the engine can be hooked up with a little work, the MAIN drama is converting tps voltage signal from the throttle body into a 'duty cycle' signal for the auto comp. once this is done its quite easy to wire up with available sensors.

Do you know what frequency and % duty cycle range is needed? I could help with mocking up this if required.
