Hey guys I'm chasing a mk 2 or 3 dizzy for a swift gti head. Ipswich Brisbane area. Changing from mk1 angle adapter for aftermarket management. Pm or reply here.

Cheers chris

You built a angle drive kit for a MK2/MK3 dizzy?

What aftermarket management? Will it be compatible with the odd trigger wheel spacings of the mk2/3's?

sorry i didn't read it right!
Jr is on to it tho, you might be better off with a g16b dizzy (this is the exact reason a g16b dizzy wont work with a mk2/3 gti and angle drive)

Could just stick to the Mk1 and gut the dizzy so it just acts as the cam sensor. Very similar setup as the early VR type G16B dizzy.

I'll probably end up with a haltech sprint 500. So would I just be able to run my current one as a sensor for the computer or will I need to change it?

Yes as long as the ECU accepts variable reluctance sensor input. All you have to do with your dizzy is lock out all advance mechanisms and unsolder/remove the ignition coil driver inside of it.
