If you're still looking for GV parts, send me a PM. I'm importing suspension, armour and other exterior bits to suit the 3 and 5 door post 2005 models.

Don't want to cut across Tim's bows, but I have a Dobinson spring kit and couldn't be happier thus far.

Here's a pic fully loaded, tent on top and full tank of fuel taken yesterday on top of Big Red in the Simpson.

Will post a proper thread reporting on all the bits when I get back, but we're heading across the Plenty Highway to Alice Springs tomorrow, then down to the Flinders Ranges (eventually) before making up our mind which track to take north again.

Hmmm... could be mid June at the earliest.

Cheers,

P

ODA (and anyone else), I have a splitting headache from trying to sort this suspension out... Shocks just aren't up to the task it seems, and overheat even in suburban driving (let alone corrugations and potholes).

On a happier note, some properly sorted (read: offroad-racing spec) suspension is being drafted as I type.

And with a price to match I guess.

But of course. You tend to get what you pay for though. I can now offer suspenion systems suitable for the Grand Vitara and Jimnys starting at $1400 and going up to $18,000, if anyone is keen enough that is.
