pulled apart my 84 g13a sierra pulled the head off it pulled all the valves and shit out, had it reconditioned and now i have to figure out the timing, what would be my best option at getting the timing as close as possible?

in what regard, like as in first timing, working out top dead center, installing dizzy first time in correct place, or setting up with light ?

just wanna know where the dizzy has gotta sit when the cam shaft marking notch is pointed to the top
