Hey zoookers,

I was missing my zook so i bought myself an 09 jimny today, got 27000km on it.
Everything is perfect except for one complaint i have about the aircon.

With the aircon on and turned up full, it doesnt seem to blow out the vents on the dash very strong.

when the airflow dial is on dash mode, not much air comes out of the dash vents. however, it blasts out onto my feet.

Is this something i can fix? Its as if there is something restricting the flow to the dash vents.

I remember my coily seirra had the same issuse but that was with the heater but i never looked into it.

Im stoked to be back driving a suzuki again :peaceout:

Thanks, dan

Check behind the stereo to see if the tubing has come off.

i think the blower motor is ok because the cold air is still blasting out onto my feet. its like as if the airflow is not being directed the right way.

il check the hoses and stuff soon when i install my stereo

The dial is a bit tight to turn onto the windscreen/demister setting( the last one to the right). And it makes a clicking noise. Not sure is that's Normal or not.

Not sure how the jimnys operate - but my sierra's linkages were all bent just from general usage over a long period of time.

I un-bent them by jamming a plastic bottle in the heater flap and pulling the lever on the dash to swap the direction - it tightened it all back up and now i can shut off the foot heater and correctly redirect the air up to the demister etc.
