Hey guys my g16b just started playing up, not idling correctly and in 1st an 2nd when putting your foot down the car sounds lumpy and is lacking power, it goes away as it goes into the end of 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Also have just done the 110amp alt upgrade not long ago, could this also be apart of the cause?

Have you ever cleaned your injectors? I have had injectors give me similar problems.

Also maybe check your fuel filter

There is no set pattern of things to do here so check everything over

Did it start when you did the alternator? did you disturb any intake hoses? go around and make sure they are all on and tight, an intake leak will do exactly what you are saying

I would check the crank keyway, you get those symptoms when its trashed. It could be a lot of things but its still worth checking that's torqued properly.

I reckon ignition timing or camshaft timing.

Check them both.
