Hi all,
Has anyone had their Jimny ignition barrel seize (99 model)? i.e key wouldnt turn.
And if so, was it able to be repaired? Or is it simply time for a new barrel.
What sort of costs for both??

Looking to get another Jimny, and this has happened to the car..
Owner has 'taken the back of the barrel off' to get the car home.

Apparently not stolen

The only time I've ever had anything like that happen the steering lock was engaged and it just needed a good shove on the wheel to get the key free.

Revs check?

And there is no transponders or anything so, it will all work with a new barrel. Just not the door locks lol
