We have only had the Jim since November and really haven't had any trouble. It hasnt cut out or anything like that just idles badly most of the time. I'll have a look at the electrics and see if there is anything obvious, hopefully it will get better now the cat is done but somehow I doubt it.

Could even just need a new set of leads. Because they are out of sight they tend to get overlooked. Maybe plugs too

Just had a good look under the hood

All looks original and very foreign to me. Might have to do some manual reading to be more familiar with it. it is idling at 700 and 900 with aircon on.

Idle is normal.
May just need a good tune, plugs, leads, oil etc

I think that might be the next step before we start thinking something serious is wrong
