Can you replace side gears from a 22 spline ARB Front Locker to suit 26 spline chromo's?
Is is just a matter of replacing the side gears or do you need a ARB Rear Locker?
ARB side gears and factory side gears
Cheers

I believe that the "old" i.e RD88 gears are no longer available. To do this swap now involves replacing much more stuff to upgrade to the newer "timed gear" design and it's generally not considered cost effective.

unless you go with a cheap china locker, which are nock offs of the previous arb design... some have had some issues with quality which would be serious, coinciding the nature of air locker use may mean a locker failure could write off your car
for example

Yeah they were updated a long time ago.

Don't think anyone on here has had an issue with theirs?

Mine is brand new and performed flawlessly over Adventure Tour, I can't give any long term insight (yet), but side by side with an arb version, there really is very little difference between the two, the knock off is just slightly less 'finished'
