So my sierra has a lot of the milky stuff under the oil cap. Am pulling it down tomorrow to find pith wether it is a headgasket or crack somewhere. If it is the gasket I will be replacing it as I have done it on my old sierra. If the block is cracked what could I expect to pay for a shop to possibly supply and fit a G16a. I would do it myself but don't have time at the moment.

Thanks

with the g16, the A = Alright... the B = Brilliant.

Go for a g16b (well, EFI g16... some are still g16a but EFI).

If its a fully rebuilt engine supplied and fitted by a shop though you're looking at a fair few grand.
