Today I bought a cheap spanner set and ground down the 14mm to make it easier to undo the nuts securing the centralising bracket.

Bugsta could you post a photo of how you've mounted these, please, it seems like it's more difficult than what I believe it to be. Though it has been a while since I bolted one of these kits together and not on an abs system.
