Hey guys, I'm new to these forums so futuristically, nice to meet all of you.
I however have a suzuki 1993 vitara g16b. It's in a pretty bad condition right now, so I'm hoping any of you guys can help.
It's slowly gotten worse and worse in terms of torque to the point i'm struggling to get up hills in even low gearing. I have it now in my garage and im suspecting it has a destroyed crank-keyway.
When revving it in neutral if I put my foot down on the throttle, it'll rev up extremely slowly until it hits around 2.5k rpm, then it speeds up. It feels like theres a sort of lag from the throttle.
I have just put up a youtube video of it revvving for this.
If I give it soft throttle it revs normally but still has sh*tall torque.

It's not too big a job to get the crank pulley and cover off the front. Then you can also check that your timing marks are lined up too.

Easier access if you could be bothered taking the radiator out first.
